Hello!

Just to let everyone know (If you are not a regular visitor to my deviantArt page) I have been taking a break somewhat to catch up on some important things. I’m making a few changes for the better and allowing time for visits with family and friends more often lately. So this last month or two have been a little slower on the updates, but I have some announcements:

1. Any work of mine on this site available as a print will have the link listed below it. Just copy and paste it and it will take you to buying options in my deviantArt store if you are interested in purchasing it. Some are available as coffee mugs/mouse pads/magnets, etc.

2. At the bottom of each of my original works, I have put whether the original piece is available and the selling price. If you are interested in one please email me for more information artbyterrauh@gmail.com . All of the works are done by me (most of them on a flat canvas) and will be signed. Remember, these are the ORIGINAL paintings and I’m sure you will find my asking prices are quite reasonable. I do accept payment through paypal and will update the posting if it is sold.

3. Some of my works may be available on clothing items or other things in my cafepress shop. I do tend to change my shop every few months so keep checking back for updates! If you would like to request anything that isn’t currently available email me, artbyterrauh@gmail.com . Please note that anything in my Fan Art gallery can not be made into a print because of copyright purposes.

4. If you would like me to take a request for a painting, please email me the information of what you would like. I will give you an price estimate and a time-frame of when it can be completed. I may not be able to take all requests or subject matter but it is completely on an individual basis.

I also must stress due to several incidents that my art is NOT ALLOWED to be reposted on other sites or uploaded to photo accounts without my direct permission.  Most likely I will give you permission if you email me and ask, as long as I am credited as the artist and a url is linked back to my site; If I run across one of my works in my regular searches though and I know permission was not granted, I tend to get very upset, so please just take 2 minutes out of your time to stop and ask me.

I promised myself that I would get a booth sometime in the near future at some of the local art fairs, but as usual, things don’t always go the way we plan them to!  My old car finally gave out on me, but luckily I was in the process of saving for a new one anyway, so I have that now :)  My knee is almost fully healed since surgery, and it is much easier for me to walk for long periods of time again.  I also have been trying to put even more time and effort into my newest paintings.  I am playing with different methods of light and shadowing hoping to better myself at those particular aspects, which would be the reason behind a lot of my works suddenly having deeper and darker colors than normal.  I might not be working as fast as usual because of it, but I hope it gives me some worthy skills to use towards future pieces.

As I slowly recover from knee surgery, I’ve had some time to update my cafepress shop with some new items, including the 2009 Fantasy Calendar.  I hope you’ll take a look! I am doing ok otherwise.  I had hoped to get a little more painting done during my break from work, but recovering takes a lot out of you apparently….found that out the hard way!  Anyway, wishing you all a happy holiday season coming up.  Things are definitley stressful enough this time of year.  I’ll be doing a lot of online shopping and giftcards…..there’s no way I’m throwing myself into the shopping crowds this season with the way I’ll be walking for the next few weeks.

Hello all! So I got a bit of an update, and would like to know that I am now selling prints directly through my deviantArt page for certain works, (http://terrauh.deviantart.com/prints/) and I am posting some of my Fan Art here as well. I’m still getting things worked out, but at least it allows a better view of more of my gallery. Also, I love that thumbnails of my current works can be posted here on the front page to make it easier to see when there have been new pictures added. If anyone is interested in a print that isn’t currently available, please let me know and I will see what can be done. I have also updated my cafepress shop to include some new items.
